What will the impact of Covid-19 be on the future of facility management? This interactive lecture on scenario planning with Hester van Sprang and Bernard Drion – authors of Introduction to Facility Management – starts with a glimpse of the future roles for facility management. Developed with the help of a sounding board, the roles are examples of the application of the steps in the scenario planning process.
The speakers will then zoom in on the challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic brings for facility management. Together with the participants, they will look for the influences of the pandemic on the trends and developments in the industry and determine the driving forces in order to develop a scenario matrix of plausible scenarios. This hour-long active session will result in a better overview of what is possibly ahead of us.
